Start with the right scope

For firms regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.

The Central Bank of Ireland supervises conduct and governance through several instruments, including the Consumer Protection Code 2025, in operation since 24 March 2026, fitness and probity and the Individual Accountability Framework. Which provisions apply depends on your firm type.

Before you get started

A few useful answers.

Want to discuss your framework and current process?

Talk it through with us
We are a payment or e-money institution. Does the whole Code apply to us?

No. Regulation 9(1) of the Consumer Protection Regulations lists the provisions that bind payment services and e-money issuance. Requirements outside that list say so, and you can mark them not applicable with that reason. SEAR requirements are marked for SEAR firms only in the same way.

Does Venvera submit returns to the Central Bank?

No. Your firm submits returns such as the Annual PCF Confirmation through the Central Bank’s own channels. Venvera helps organise the requirements, recurring duties and supporting evidence.

Can we use our existing evidence?

Yes. Bring your policies and supporting evidence into Venvera and link them to the relevant controls. Cross-framework mappings help you identify reusable work; your team still reviews whether the evidence meets each requirement.

What is included in the trial?

The 14-day Professional trial includes up to five frameworks and unlimited users, with no credit card required. You can explore the controls, assess gaps and organise your compliance work. Framework modules are on paid plans; compare plans for feature availability.
